Sorry?!?! Yeah Right!

You say you're sorry

after you deceive me

and you say "Mychall, don't you believe me?!?!"

Yes I do. I believe that the whole time you've been storing up the hurt

the hurt I feel that was sent by you.

You're a LIAR, I hate... no, I despise you

From jump all I've asked is for you to be, 1 word, TRUE

But NO. I can't get that. Too much like right.

When I'm the one who tried to have your back both day and night

Other man stomped on your heart

had you sad and mad. OH

but wasn't it me, last year birthday time

helped turn that sad to glad or at least tried to

But who knew that you would wait til one of my worst weeks

to add on some more worst times 2

maybe 3

you're mad now but all I did was find out

that you don't really give a **** about me

Masking all these real feelings and saying

"I need to search for truth"

Silly me, I was up here droppin' folk

and now I'm thinking I should drop you

haha the jokes on me cuz you got me 1st

But have no fear cuz it will all blow up

POOF

and everybody will see that the only thing real about your lies...

is that they wore that mask named truth!

SORRY?!?! Yeah Right!

HELLO 2011

Hello Everyone! First, I'd like to say Happy New Year to everyone. I'm so excited for what this year has in store. The year has actually kicked off with a challenge. This challenge is one that I chose but with a lot of hesitation. I'm on an endeavor to read the Bible from Genesis to Revelation in the year. I'm on a plan where I am responsible for having read 4 chapters a day. I am going in order as well. I doubted myself and have tried to rationalize quitting and this is only the first day. However, as I was reading today I came across something I wanted to share with you all. I have the Life Application New International Version (NIV) of the Bible. As I was reading Genesis chapter 3, it talks about the fall of man and the results of the sin that took place with Adam and Eve in the garden. My version, I call it the Life App, has some notes that I thought were very fitting for me to endure with this reading challenge for the year. I don't just want to read the Bible but I want to really READ the Word and hide as much of it as I can in my heart. My life app notes have a little section on how Satan, the enemy, adversary, devourer, ruler of evil etc has a plan against those who are called Children of God, Christians, the Body of Christ. He uses these 5 steps to get us off of our game:

Step 1: Doubt- Making you question God's Word and His goodness

Step 2: Discouragement: focusing on problems rather than on God

Step 3: Diversion: Making the wrong things seem attractive and makes you want them more than the right things

Step 4: Defeat: Making you feel like a failure so that you don't even try

Step 5: Delay: Putting off something so that it never gets done

Ever since I've started this reading challenge and mind you its just the first day, I have dealt briefly with these tactics. However after having read the Bible, and reminding myself on what I know about God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit, I know that God's grace is sufficient in times of my weakness and God's power is made perfect 2 Cor 12:9.

I want to encourage all those who read this. Yes, we celebrate the coming of a New Year however there are somethings that you want to accomplish and the enemy will use those 5 things to attack you but if you go find a few promises of God to stand on, I guarantee that every weapon formed shall not prosper. So if you don't get anything else out of this blog post just know that Mychall has encouraged you to go get under the shadow of the almighty and stay there! Also, go thank God for every weapon formed, that is forming, or will ever form because it WILL NOT prosper. Isaiah 54:17

Ps. I'll be keeping you posted via blog posts about how the reading is going.
